Chancel Choir - Welcome Back!

Hello all. We will resume Chancel Choir & Celebration Choir rehearsals on Wednesday, September 9 beginning at 6:30p with the praise band & Celebration Ensemble in the sanctuary and 7:30p with Chancel Choir in Crother's Hall.

So, just wondering after music and art will we have the combo of music and art together? Many pieces of music were written to illustrate art, or to paint a "picture" of a scene in nature. This could be a great example of how more than one sense can amplify our connection. Just a thought.

Chancel Choir ONLY - Rehearsal Wednesday 5/27

There will be a Chancel Choir rehearsal on Wednesday evening at 7:00p in Crothers Hall. This is in lieu of Thursday night. Thanks all. Sunday 5/31 - the 9:00a service is the same (praise band & singers); 10:30a No Chancel Choir.

Hello all. Just a reminder there is no practice on Thursday 5/14 for all groups. The Praise Band will meet on Sunday morning 5/17 to rehearse at 8:30a. Both services are the identical so the Praise Band will stay through both services.

HEY! The music schedule has "rehearsal" on Thursday 4/23, but the bulletin has nothing in it for the praise band to play.
Is there rehearsal Thursday 4/23 or not? If so, what is being rehearsed?
Anyone got any info?

Please plan to attend the 2009 - 2010 calendar year worship planning session on July 18. The planning meeting will last from 11am - 6pm, BUT I've allocated 2pm - 3pm specifically for planning the music calendar. Bring your thoughts and ideas for the next year (fall 2009 - Spring 2010) and we'll get a calendar started
